  • Peter's Log Cabin

Have you ever heard the saying “a Cabin in the middle of nowhere”? Well it seems our client Peter from Surrey has made this into a reality.  Peter contacted us looking for a mid-size traditional design log cabin for keeping his tools in and relaxing as well.  At that moment we had a very good offer on the Lille 4m x 5m (44mm) log cabin, which Peter happily accepted. A concrete base was laid for this log cabin prior to delivery taking place. Then our assembly team installed it and laid green bitumen shingles on the roof. Installation was completed within one day. Now Peter spends many a happy day enjoying his cabin. (check there log cabins) (More)
  • Alison's Log Cabin

Builder Les contacted us looking for a spacious and functional log cabin. This had come about because his friend Alison from Surrey needed such a cabin and Les was happy to help her. After various considerations Les and Alison decided to go for the Clockhouse 5.5m x 4m log cabin. This made sense as this traditional design log cabin is one of the most popular in our range. Alison wanted to have plain windows and doors so we were able to make special ones as requested. The cabin was delivered straight from our factory and Les started on the installation. First of all the concrete base was laid and after it had dried Les started putting up the walls. In order to upgrade the roof, Les decided on extra plywood sheets on top of the roof boards and laid bitumen shingles on top. All Quick Garden… (More)
  • Carolyne's Wooden Garage

Carolyne from Eastleigh was looking for a garage that would be big enough to house two cars, a lawnmower and her other things. However, due to height restrictions Carolyne wanted to reduce the ridge height of the garage in order to avoid planning permission application. Because we have the option for most of our cabins and garages to reduce the ridge height to 249 centimetres, we were able to do this with Carolyne’s wooden garage as well in order to comply with all the planning regulations. We know that the garage door has to be the strongest part of the garage, so we supplied two sets of heavy duty garage doors which ensure that all Carolyne’s belongings will remain safe. For the roof covering, Caroline decided to go for the green bitumen shingles, which was a great choice because it’s o… (More)
  • Insulated Log Cabin for Kittens!

Nicola from Charlbury needed a place to accommodate her cute kittens which would also fit in her garden. So the Nica insulated log cabin 5m by 5m was the perfect option, as it fitted into her garden perfectly. Nicola needed to have 3 rooms, so the layout of the cabin was modified accordingly. As the kittens were to live in the insulated log cabin all year round it had to warm, so the twin skin fully insulated structure with double-glazed windows and doors option was chosen. After the cabin arrived, it was installed in two days, treated and the kittens were ready for their new accommodation (What a lovely ones, aren't they?). We want to say a special thanks to Nicola for the pictures and the positive feedback about the insulated log cabin. (More)

  • Residential Log Cabin in France by Our Customer

Mr Jardine was looking for a residential cabin in the countryside in France that was big enough for his large family to relax in during the weekends. We advised Mr Jardine to get the residential cabin Hymer with 66mm walls. And it was a great choice indeed as Mr Jardine wanted to have two separate bedrooms and one large living room for the whole family to hang out in during breakfast or summer evenings on the terrace. The solid 66mm double tongue & groove profiled walls ensured both the solidity and the natural insulation of  the residential log cabin. Meanwhile, thanks to the reinforced roof construction, the whole structure remains safe regardless of any storms or other possible natural happenings. We want to thank Mr Jardine for the photos he has send to us. Please see more pictur… (More)
