  • Customer John's residential cabin

The golden goal is pleasing your client, but to get a client that is ecstatic with the product is fabulous. Cabins can make a huge different to people’s spaces and the way this allows them to enjoy their life, but choosing the right one is essential. James came to us with a few ideas about what he wanted from his cabin; he wanted to use it year-round and have two storeys. These were concerning him as he wasn’t sure that a wooden building could be used other than for a few months in the summer and he was worried about planning permission. These fears almost put him off completely. However, we were able to put his fears to rest pretty quickly. As with many of our two storey cabins, they comply with all required building regulations already. This meant that James could have a great choice an… (More)
  • Quick Garden featured on ITV's Peter Andre's 60 Minute Makeover!

If you are ever looking for ideas on how to refresh the look of your home, garage or garden, you are probably a fan of ITV’s Peter Andre’s 60 Minutes Makeover! This extremely popular show has been running for 12 seasons now and has changed the lives of countless people. This time, we at Quick Garden were very proud to help Pete and the team go to Surrey to transform the home of a former police officer Steve Barron. The designer, Ben Hillman, had a look at our broad range of designs and picked our log cabin Jack 4m x 3m, which was the perfect size for Steve’s garden. Who can resist a spacious man cave these days? A few weeks later we delivered the cabin to Mr Barron’s premises – in fact our professional assembly team worked from the early morning, installing the base as well as the ca… (More)
  • Gingerbread lodge - our cabin in the woods!

We have learned a few things having been the route of full Planning and Building Regs, the latter still to be signed off, but along the way have carefully selected products (some I had not heard of before) that we have found to be eminently suitable for use with Quick Garden Cabin products. For the exterior, I did a lot of research on the Internet, and came up with products from Berrattine, initially a Wood Preserver and stain (Green tin, not the brown one) which with two coats has given a very good overall colour to the cabin in medium brown. This has been followed up with a product from the same company, Berrattine Decking and Log Cabin waterproofer, which is a clear waterproofing wax finish, the combination being voiced as likely to last for five years (opinions from Trade blog page… (More)
  • Ray's mobile home Lincoln

Ray came to us wanting a mobile home which would come under permitted development and would not cause him any issues with planning. He was looking for something that he can use permanently all-year-round, therefore he went for the fully insulated version as well as the U-PVC door and window upgrade. As you can see it looks and feels like a permanent building, although it still complies with the caravan act! Our standard Lincoln cabins have space for 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a small storage room/wardrobe and a fairly large kitchen/lounge area at the front of the cabin. Also at the front there is a terrace which can be used to relax on in the summer! If you are looking to build a home hassle-free, mobile homes might just be worth looking into! (More)
  • Phil's log cabin FILL

Phil wanted a two-bedrooms summerhouse where he can spend his warm summer days. We offered a few options and the one that stuck with him was the log Fill cabin, no idea why! The design was just what he was looking for except for some layout and window/door changes. However, after sending the plan back and forth a few times for correction we finally agreed on the design! What came out - you can see for yourself. Phil decided to keep the color of the wood and decorated the interior to give it a nice rustic feel. The cabin looks very cosy inside ant might be just what you need to relax in the summer. It was built with the upgraded 66mm walls logs and that is all you need for a summerhouse. What about you would you go for a contemporary look or this rustic design makes you feel right at ho… (More)
  • Barry's fancy Clockhouse log cabin

Why not to add some Mediterranean look to your cabin? Our customers happen to have very delicate tastes when it comes to decorating their gardens. One of our customers had an idea of putting a small log cabin into his garden which would add a decorative touch as well as provide some cozy space for his family. Out of our whole range he chose a small cabin with a clock tower - and indeed a cabin with a dormer, large windows and French door proves to be a very nice and attractive design. But not only that. The customer decided to choose Mediterranean style and combined white and blue colours to paint the cabin – as a result he had a lovely design cabin, with dominating white colour while the doors and the windows were painted in light blue colour. The pots with vivid flowers added a… (More)
